Mia Martina

Mia Martina (born Martine Johnson, January 14, 1984) is a Canadian artist signed to CP Records. Martina grew up in Saint-Ignace, New Brunswick. At age 18, she moved to Ottawa to go to Carleton University.[1] While at university, she saw an ad for an intern position at a local label, CP Records.[1] After a year of hard work, Martina went from delivering CDs to radio stations and office administration work to singing backup in the studio for other recording artists on the label. Success took awhile to arrive, but once it did, it took off.
