Dimitri Vegas began to make his first steps as a DJ at the age of 14. In his early years he made several appearances in small clubs and was the resident BeatFM radio DJ. He left Belgium in 1999 and began touring Europe. He lived in Mallorca and then in Halkidiki, Greece before moving to Ibiza in 2003, where he was resident in major clubs such as Privilege and Space.[2]
